Kathy, and family.
I worked for Al when he acquired an existing motorcycle shop and started Haines Cycle center. I was In college and had a wonderful experience working for Al. While I knew him When he worked for Yamaha we really got to know each other after he acquired the business. It was a genuine blessing to work for Al and to know him. He was one of a kind! I’ve since worked for for many and been a boss myself with Very large Global responsibilities. But Al was among the BEST I’ve worked for in my career. Kathy, I remember fondly you hosting us at your house during the holidays. That stuck with me as I led numerous teams myself. Eventually I graduated with an engineering degree, met my wife Of now 38 years and had 4 wonderful children. We moved away from NJ for 20 years but moved back to Voorhees 21 years ago. I’m ashamed I did reach out earlier. I’m sorry about that. I wanted to visit him at DHY but was too late. I just bought a Goldwing there and I know Al would have approved. I now own my own business for 13+ years in south jersey and credit Al in part for my success. Thank you for sharing him with me. He has positively impacted my life beyond comprehension.
