Edward Daniel (Dan) Cearley, 58, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020. He lost his battle here on earth but is living in victory with his Lord and Savior in Heaven. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and Pop-Pop. Born, June 15, 1961 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of Ruby Beatrice (Bea) Dean. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Antoinette (Toni) Cearley, his mother, Ruby Bea Dean, his brothers Gary Jones (Ginger), and James Walter (Walley) Cearley (Lisa), his daughters, Chellzee Cearley and her companion Matt, Taija Stalnaker (Scott), his son, Michael (Bubba) Cearley and his companion Melissa; 9 grandchildren, 2 canines and many friends. He is pre-deceased by his brother Seaborn (Seaby) Wright Jones. Dan proudly served in the United States Air Force where he was Airman First Class from 1980-1983. Dan loved the Lord with all his heart, soul and mind. He was a loved member of our Hope Chapel family. He also loved riding his Harley and is now riding on the golden streets of Heaven. His life and big heart touched many people and the paths they crossed. A Celebration of Life [gathering] will be held after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, www.bafound.org or Hope Chapel, 1006 Pine Street, Pine Hill, New Jersey 08021. Rev. 21:4 - "He will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain." Out of the mouth of Dan - "We are all truly blessed!" Stay blessed my friends. During this difficult time, I understand that everyone wants to spend time together. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the ability of family and friends to come together in person and grieve in typical ways. To lessen the risk of inadvertently spreading COVID, please be mindful of the following guidelines in order to respect and protect the health and safety of our loved ones. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, please stay home if you have been exposed to the virus in the last 14 days, are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptons in the last 14 days (fever, body aches, coughing, respiratory illness or difficulty breathing); are showing COVID symptoms, or have recently travelled to an area with a high risk of COVID. You are required to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing. Hand sanitizers will also be available. In remembrance of Dan Cearley, a celebration of life for him will be held.
