Obituary of John E. Mauger

John E. Mauger Jr. (Junior) on June 26, 2018 of Berlin, NJ passed peacefully in his home.   Age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Astbury). Loving father of Mark (Anna Rubba) of West Berlin and Greg (deceased) of SF, CA.  Also survived by his companion Florence Dowell of West Berlin.

After graduating from Overbrook High School, John enlisted in the US Air Force.  He served in England where he met his wife.  Upon returning home he began working as a machinist at Campbell Soup in the ERD Dept.  He retired after 35+ years with the company.  John was the ultimate family man and was caregiver to his wife Dorothy when she became ill.  He loved baseball especially the Phillies and enjoyed tinkering in his workshop.

A visitation will be held at Knight Funeral Home from 9:30am until 11:30am on Friday, June 29th.  The memorial service will follow.  Interment will be private.
