Obituary of Pearl A. Winters

Winters; Pearl A. ( nee: Bosy ) Went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2015 age 93 years of Berlin, NJ. Devoted wife of the late Thomas. She is survived by three daughters Kathleen L. Jordan of Smyrna, DE., Shirley L. Berlthlong of Amelia, VA., Laraine K. Francisco of Millstone, NJ, a son Joseph B. of Berlin, NJ, a stepson Thomas C. of Magnolia, DE, three sisters Norma Kenderdine of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Rose MacNamara of Cherry Hill, NJ, Ellen Miller and a brother George Bosy both of Bend, Oregon, also survived by four cherished grandchildren Amelia Hashman, Conor J. Francisco, Cayla R. Francisco, step-grandson Thomas B. Winters, and one precious great granddaughter Ava Hashman. Pearl lived most of her 93 years in the town of Berlin, NJ, raising five children and taking part in managing of the family-owned gun business. Kept her life constantly humming or as was promised by her husband Tom, " never boring ". Her hobbies included vegetable gardening, canning of her vegetables and travel whenever possible. Pearl was very passionate about history and as a member of the aptly nicknamed " Greatest Generation ", she lived through times and events that are the stuff of movie legends. She will be missed by all who survive her and forgotten by none. Services for Pearl will be held Tuesday, June 2, 11am at the Knight Funeral Home where family and friends may call 9:30am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
