On October 15, 2024, Bill passed away peacefully at the wonderful age of 98years. he is predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth, daughter Nancy and son William.
He is survived by his two devoted daughters Joyce ( William ) Heron, Sandy ( Karl ) Fowler and daughter in law Edie Newport ( nee: Edwards ), also survived by eight grandchildren , ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was a proud veteran who served in the US Navy during WWII. After his discharge from the service, Bill worked as a machinist at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and RCA in Camden, NJ. he then became a machine shop teacher at Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, NJ from 1969 until he retired in 1985.
Per Bill's wishes, funeral services and inurnment will be held private.
If you wish, donations in Bill's memory can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at http://www.lis.org or simply drink a toast in his honor.
Bill lived a great life and will be missed by all who knew him.
