Charlene E. (Irwin) Adair, born June 8, 1955, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving parents, Regina and Selden Irwin and her brothers Selden and Albert Irwin, formerly from Laurel Springs, NJ. All of whom instilled in her the values of resilience and devotion that would define her life. In 1972 Charlene married her soulmate James Dennis Adair. Their 52 year partnership was marked by love, laughter and the joy of raising their three daughters, Charlene (x-Peter) Galiano, Jennifer (x-Kenny) Adair-LaFountaine and Wendy (Jedidiah) Markowski. Despite the early loss of her mother, Charlene transformed her grief into a powerful commitment to family. She and James built a warm and welcoming home in Berlin,NJ filled with laughter and cherished memories. Charlene took immense pride in her seven grandchildren, Gabrielle (Jeremy) Lowell, Peter Galiano, Nyko Galiano, Ally Markowski, Wyatt Markowski, Anna Markowski and Kai Adair-Lee. She enjoyed one great- grandchild Jax Lowell. Her favorite honey was Clover. She will be furever loved by Mr.Boo, Switch, Fenna and Annef. Her sister Regina (Rich) Figiel provided steadfast support helping to fill the void left by her mother’s early passing, which she will eternally be thankful. Charlene‘s greatest vocation was that of a devoted mother and wife. That role laid the foundation for her later work at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support created unbreakable bonds with her daughters and the lives of those around her and found friendship with Margie Sprague (Anthony) that exemplified strength of love and companionship. The love she had for her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and in-laws filled a lot of her heart and memories. Charlene‘s life was a testament to the power of love and kindness. She found the time for the people and things that mattered and volunteered at local food banks and coached softball for various levels over the years. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience and the ability to turn trials into triumphs. She will be deeply missed forever. She will be remembered for her remarkable spirit and the joy she brought to all that knew her. A celebration of Charlene‘s life will be held on, Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 10:30 am at Gates of Heaven Cemetery 260 W White Horse Pike Berlin, NJ 08009. Final arrangements entrusted to Knight Funeral Home.
