Thompson; Carol A. ( nee: Romeo ) On Tuesday, July 2, 2024 age 73years of Gibbsboro, NJ, passed away peacefully with family by her side. She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Rita Romeo. Carol is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 53years Steven, two daughters Michele Thompson and Wendy ( Paul ) Genovese, four grandchildren Carlee Thompson, Adrianna, Paul and Joseph Genovese, also survived by a brother Anthony ( Teresa ) Romeo, two sisters Donna Romeo-McGuire ( Mike ), Sandra ( Brian ) Dotts, and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carol loved family above all and spent her career as a proud registered pediatric nurse until her retirement. She was the heart of her family and a woman who was much loved by all. A memorial mass will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024, 10:30am at St. Simon Stock Parish / Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009, where family and friends may call 9:30am. Family strongly request in lieu of flowers donations in Carol's name may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Plaza, Memphis, TN 38105, or use the link St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
