Obituary of Shirley Park

Park; Shirley M. ( Nee: Linden ) On July 25, 2023 age 83years of Berlin Twp., NJ. Born February 28, 1940, to Walter and Marie both deceased, two sisters Barbara ( Sallade ), and Angel Marie both deceased. Survived by her two loving children, Tracey Sullivan and Charles Park, also survived by two cherished grandchildren David and Noella Sullivan. Married and divorced from Charles J. Park who passed away May 15, 2020. After staying home and raising her two children, Shirley went to work in several administrative positions for Camden County Extension Service and ultimately retired from the Delaware Port Authority after nearly 20 years of employment. Upon retirement Shirley helped care for her mother Marie, for several years before her passing. Home and family were always important to Shirley. She enjoyed working in the yard and decorating for the holidays also she loved baking and cooking. Shirley mimicked decades old traditional recipes from her mother's family for each holiday celebration. Making sure the family was all together for the holidays was very important to her. The music, decorations and food were always perfect. Shirley loved being a grandmother, she enjoyed baking treats, and most of all spending time with them. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 31, 2023, 10:30am at the Knight Funeral Home where family and friends may call 9:30am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
