Obituary of Mary Aleen McKeever

Mary Aleen McKeever of Laurel Springs, NJ passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. She was the loving daughter of the late Alfred D. McKeever and the late Victoria Aleen McKeever(Jensen). She is also predeceased by her lifelong companion Dr. Bill Rieber. She is survived by her cousin and caregiver Gary L. Jones, his wife Jeanette(Cattell), and numerous cousins.
Aleen retired from teaching in the Cherry Hill School district where she was a fifth grade teacher at Bret Harte. Aleen and Bill loved sailing on their sailboat and traveling on the QE2. Her favorite pastime was family genealogy. She was a proud member of the DAR, the Mayflower Association, and the Nickerson Family who founded Chatham on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The family would like to thank Samaritan Hospice for their compassion and care. Services will be private at the request of the family.
