I had the privilege of working with Brian and the honor of calling him friend for many years. Brian was the first assistant on the Service Team at Holman Lincoln Mercury when I was promoted to Service Manager. We did not always see eye to eye but we always found our way through or around something we did not agree on. Besides spending more time with each other then we did with our families and friends we managed to find time for some great camping trips, nights out or just chilling at Brian's home where I always felt welcome. I ate dinner one night with just home newborn Michelle on the table in her carrier.
Laughter was always involved when we were together, be it at work or out and about. On the worst days Brian would find away to make us smile and laugh and that truly saved us all from going totally nuts. When I quit smoking he threatened to start if I did mellow out! I think back on times like that and realize what a friend I had.
He may be gone from our sight but he will always be with us. Rest comfortably my friend until next we meet.
