Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sorrow that we say goodbye to a beautiful soul, Robert Hand, Jr. Robert passed in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 16, 2021. Robert was born on July 6, 1968 in Stratford, NJ to Robert Hand, Sr. and Patricia. He grew up in Albion, Winslow Twp. And worked as a truck driver for TAB, Inc. for more than 25 years. He is predeceased by his father, Robert Hand, Sr. his brother Keith Hand and his Mother in Law, Marie Sosdorf. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Hand, his loving wife, Karen Hand (nee Sosdorf), his Son, Robert III (Allison) and grandson Jackson, his niece, Meagan Coughlin and his in laws, Williams Sosdorf, Jr., William III and Frances Rutan. Bobby had countless friends and would help both friends and strangers at any time. He was both generous and kind and could always be counted on for any help he could give. He loved his beagles, Shauncey, Abbey, and Lily and his cat Phil. He had a passion for cooking and feeding the masses brought him joy. He loved playing pool for the APA, campfires and having a cold one with his Bourbon Street Family at Hospitality Creek Campground. He especially enjoyed hanging with his “brother” George Low at the Deer Club and fishing expeditions with Bill Moore, even though they never caught anything, vacations and camping with his cousins and best friends Betty Evans and Timothy Dangro and Thanksgivings in North Carolina with Kathleen and Ron Amato. He would often be seen during the off camping season, in his back yard at the giant fire pit, with his wife Karen, just spending time together and enjoying each other’s company, while burning pallets. He especially loved his time with his son Robert and his grandson Jackson, both of whom he was extremely proud. Bobby was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and a food network enthusiast, and never missed any episode with Guy Fieri. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 6pm at the Estate of Monroe, 1351 N. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, NJ to honor the memory of Bobby. Dinner and soft drinks as well as coffee and tea will be provided and there is a cash bar. Please come and celebrate Bobby’s life with us and bring a story to share.
