Jean Rae Kennedy, maiden name Jean Rae Neirle, was 99 years of age and a lifelong resident of Berlin, NJ. Jean attended Berlin Grammar School and Haddonfield High School. After leaving High School Jean was employed by RCA in Camden to help build and furnish equipment and supplies to the men on the front line overseas in W.W.ll.
Jean was member of the Holy Communion Church her entire life and often a soloist in the choir. Jean was an avid bowler, a member of the Berlin Senior Citizens Club for many years, and a very athletic person taking long walks and hikes, flying and parachuting jumping, however her favorite sport was swimming.
Jean was predeceased by daughter Patricia A. DiMedio and son Raymond L. Kennedy. Jean is survived by daughter Linda M. Kennedy, sister Janet O’Brian, brother Louis E. Neirle, friend Harriot Wolcott, her granddaughter Tara Cinelli, and grandson’s Ottavio Cinelli, Gregory, Kevin, Derek, and Christopher DiMedio. Jean has 13 great grandchildren.
