Just heard this news.
Vince was a GREAT guy. I really enjoyed working with him in Georgia on Operation Kickback earlier this year with Team Rubicon. Full of life, super hard worker, compassionate and empathetic. A quick and easy friendship once he found out I work in Law Enforcement as well. We had a lot of great conversations about continuing to serve communities with Team Rubicon...
You will be missed brother.

I only knew Vince for the last couple of years. But I tell ya he was one heck of a guy. Always quick to help others! Vince and I shared the love of Elvis and also Cycling. He was always quick to encourage me and he was more of an inspiraton to me than he probably knew. I sure hate to know he is gone. But I know he is in a much better place. To Vince's family I would say we were all lucky to know him for no matter the amount of time we had with him...seems everyone loved him and he positively affected everyone's life that knew him.
I am not quiet sure yet but I will be doing some type of benefit ride in Vince's honor... His memory will ride on!

We met Vince through Elvis events. First time a few years ago in Helen, GA. We immediately became friends. He was always fun, happy and upbeat. He sent me pictures and videos that I wouldn't get when I went up to the stage to get a scarf. You know how they say a man who loves dogs is a good man and he did love his babies. Sometimes he would have to leave a show to be with the dogs. He could watch how they were doing in the RV from his phone. He did love to pick on me too, the latest being in Tupelo in June when at the door at the afterparty he said, hey you, do you have a ticket? Then he smiled and winked. He had been the one who sent me link to get my ticket. Steve said he was always someone he could talk easily to. They talked at length that night. We didn't know we wouldn't see him again. Go with the Angel's Vince and sing now with them and Elvis. We will miss you so much. Love and prayers to Nancy and the family.
