Husband of Penny Murphy, Father to Jess R. Murphy 3rd (Sharon), Barbara Finley (Bob), Rose Clifford (Mike), Terry Kelly, Patty Byers (Steve), and Brian Murphy (Annette), Brother to Vi, Rose, Pearl, Raymond, Jean, (predeceased) Bill, Walt, Thelma, George.

Pop Pop was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 2 of which are angels above.

28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

Jess was born in Camden NJ. He spent most of his adult years in Fl on

the Gulf Coast as a painter. When he wasn't painting, he was outside

tinkering. He loved fishing, crabbing, walking local flea markets and

yard sales finding "a deal". Other hobbies he enjoyed included jigsaw &

crossword puzzles.

He will be remembered for many things but one memory for sure is his

infamous fried potatoes. (We've heard you can eat as many carbs as you

want in heaven).
