To the family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you be comforted by the "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3) that one day, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28, 29) May these promises from our Heavenly Father give you comfort now and real hope for the future. Deepest sympathy.

To my buddy LC,
Seeing Poppy's cross and watching your Mom open it to find the purple heart you put inside was a beautiful sign that you are still with us Colin. Keep sending those little signs while you watch over your loved ones. You and I enjoyed some great times laughing together and our day on the beach with you, Sissy, and your Mom is a cherish memory I will hold close to my heart until we meet again. I will be sure to remind Sissy how much fun we had together on the beach and get her to play some football with me this summer. We are all going to miss seeing your handsome face, hearing your voice and having you with us to hug. Comfort those who miss it the most by continuing to send signs that you are always with us. My heart is where I can find you and in my mind those cherish memories will live. It was a pleasure watching you grow up from such a cute baby to a handsome young man. Your Mom is the women and friend so many rely on for strength love and help. I pray we can comfort her and give her the strength today to say goodbye for now. RIP my friend.

out of all places you had to go, why was it your turn to leave us ? i remember becoming friends back in middle school when i first moved to bcs. you use to always be able to put a smile on not only my face but everyone else also who was around. i remember playing basketball down the street from my gmoms house all the time growing up till we got to our later years in high school. i also remember the paintball games we would see each other at and if we were cracking a joke back and forth it was always the “bromance” conversation about anything under the sun. i’m sorry you went through this, i wish i would have known when things were rough in the beginning so i could have tried to help you. life isn’t easy and i know it’s a struggle, but you are flying high and free as happy as can be. my condolences to the family and friends, he will never be forgotten. r.i.p. colin

I never got to meet Colin but I know Marcella through facebook. I send my condolences and prayers to all of Colin's family and friends. This hurts my heart so much. I, too, have family members that struggle with addiction and I know the pain it causes everyone involved. Colin is such a handsome young man. May you all feel the presence of Jesus and be covered with a peace that surpasses all understanding during this most difficult time.
Sincerely, Amy Martin
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
Psalm 40:1-3
“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.”

There was something incredibly special about Colin. I only knew him for the last few years and wish very much that I'd seen him just a little more often and got to know him just a little better than I did over that time. It makes me sad that I will never get that chance now. I felt an instant connection with him the first time we had a conversation, as I'm sure so many others have experienced. As he went from being a "kid" to a young man, even through all his struggles, his warm heart and wicked sense of humor were larger than life. My heart hurts for him, his family and friends who loved him deeply, and all the people in the future that would have been better for knowing him .......if they only still had that opportunity.
