Elsie lived her life walking in Christ's footsteps, always a kind word, always a helping hand, devoted mother, faithfully devoted member of Berlin Centenary Methodist Church, Sunday School teacher and has planted God's Mustard seed all along her Christ's walk in life. The children of God were Elsie's children. Thank you, Elsie, we love you and we remember you, till we meet again in our great reunion in heaven. I'm looking forward to seeing Elsie's great big smile she always has when greeting us. Alan, we miss your mom and our prayers are with you. Thanks be to God. Allen, This world has lost one of it's best. Your mom taught us in Sunday School. She worked with us when we were teenagers. (Who else would have. Only her.) All the time she was raising you. I remember the instant joy you brought to so many people upon your arrival. She held you close and rejoiced in having you. The one thing that I always knew with her there would be a smile, a laugh and some mischief in most things. She was a pixie! Her alto voice carried that group in the choir. We were all fortunate to know her and have her in our lives. God be with you and bless you. Mary Ellen

I am saddened by the news of Elsie passing but know she is with the Lord. I can't speak highly enough about her joyful disposition and beautiful smile. Elsie always took time to come to "the Marshall Family Reunion" and represented the Stratton side of the family. We all really appreciated and enjoyed her visits over the years very much. God bless.
