Obituary of Helen Gliksman

Helen Gliksman, 96 of Absecon passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016.
Born on July 19, 1920 in Frankfurt Germany.
After World War II Helen met & married concentration camp survivor Israel Gliksman and came to Ellis Island after the war in 1950.
Helen passed away peacefully at Seashore Gardens after recently being diagnosed with cancer. Helen enjoyed being the life of the party, dancing, exercising and yoga. Helen was active in her Temple Beth Israel and did volunteer work for the community. In her retirement Helen spent many years traveling around the world.
Mother of the late Harold. Helen is survived by her four children Roe Scott, Reba (Rachael) Gliksman-DAlessio, Sherry Gliksman and Michael Gliksman. Helen also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and close friends.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, August 1, at 10AM for family & friends at Rodef Sholem Cemetery 8891 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Beth Israel in Northfield or Seashore Gardens in Galloway Twp.
