Obituary of Shirley J. Klein

Shirley Jean Klein Age 80, of Williamstown, N.J., formerly of Berlin, N.J., returned home to God on January 23, 2016. Born April 10, 1935 in Dunmore Pennsylvania, she was married to her beloved husband, Russell, for fifty-three years. She was a 1956 Nursing graduate of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. After marrying her loving husband, Russell and Shirley moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and later to Berlin, NJ. She was a devoted and committed Christian. A loving wife and mother, she is survived and deeply missed by her husband Russell, her two children — daughter Deborah (husband Christopher) Malone of Berlin, son Gary Klein of Gilbert, Arizona, — her seven grandchildren (Jessica, Stephanie, Christopher, Juliann, Kori, Cameron, and Abigail), and her brother Joseph Riccardo. She was preceded in death by her two infant children (Linda and Louise), two sisters (Lucille and Grace) and two brothers (Salvatore and Lawrence). A visitation will be held at Knight Funeral Home, Inc., 14 Rich Berlin, N.J., January 29, 2016, from 9:30AM to 11:00AM. Friends are invited to visit and celebrate her life. A memorial service will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that instead donations may be made in her memory to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a final tribute to her selfless love for all of God’s children.
