Obituary of William G. AlKazin Jr.

Alkazin, William George Jr. (Bill, Pop, or Mr.A), 91, Of Winslow Township. passed away on June 8, 2015. Born in Atlantic City NJ on October 18, 1923, to the late William and Mary(Molly) nee Jameson and predeceased by sisters, Mary Wyatt, Rita Peters and Barbara Alkazin. He entered the US Army and served over seas where he was trained in mechanics which he used for the rest of his life. After serving approximately 20 years with Spiegel Farm Supplies as a truck driver and mechanic. He was the builder and owner of Alkazin Greenhouses. The business was turned over to his son-in-law, Bruce when Bill retired in 1983. He is predeceased by his son-in-law Bruce Stock. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family, his beloved wife of 70 years, of Bette (Pigott), two daughters, Mary Conrad (Ronald) and Rebecca A. Stock, three grandchildren, Jessica McCloskey (Daniel), William Jason Zielke (Katrina) , and Adam Stock (Sandra). Three Step Grandchildren, Lorrie Snader (Jeff), Julie Conrad and Lori Conrad. He had one great grandson Daniel McCLouskey Jr., Two step grandcildren, Autumn Snader, and Kaylee Snader and one foster great grandchild Leahann Zielke. He is surrived by his family and sisters, Sister Mary Raymond RSM, Sister Loretta Fernandez RSM, Elizabeth Suzanne Egony (Kel)of Ft Myers , Florida and Theresa LaRocca (Frank)of Atlantic City, NJ. Special niece Peg Ims of Flordia and Special Friend Nikki Harris, Also many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at the Alkazin home on June 21, 2015 from 1:00 to 6:00.
