Rory enjoyed growing up in Voorhees Township and made lifelong friends through the Voorhees School System. He played many years of soccer for the Voorhees Soccer Association. He worked as a carpenter and later became an electrical assistant for RDH Electrical. Rory had achieved his internationally certified 3rd degree black belt in traditional Korean Tai Kwon Do through his 20+ years of tenure with Mackenzie’s Martial Arts. He had been a beloved teacher to hundreds of students and was a favorite among both the students and parents for his cheerful way, electric smile and laugh.
Rory, through his decision to help others, listed himself as an Organ Donor on his NJ Driver’s License and his last compassionate act on this earth was to provide hope to many men, women and children who are in need of a lifesaving or a life enhancing transplant. Generosity was his most endearing human trait.
