Obituary of Shirley Evangelista

Evangelista, Shirley (Saber), 88 years, resided in West Berlin, N.J. for over 50 years. She was married to George Sr. (deceased) and Mother to four loving children: Jeannette Butler (John), Michael (Laraine), George (Gail) and Arthur (Brenda). She was a beloved Gammy to 13 grandchildren and their spouses, and 21 great grandchildren. Over the course of the years she worked in Washington, at Strawbridge's and for the State of New Jersey in Camden. Her legacy is LOVE ..for Jesus and the people of God. For many years, she sent personalized cards to those who were unable to leave their homes, but her greatest LOVE was always for her family and her dear friends. She prayed continually for all of us , she laughed with all of us and now she kneels before her beloved Jesus and rejoices to hear Him say "Well done, My good and faithful servant, enter into your Rest." May the memory of Shirley Evangelista be greatly Blessed. We will celebrate her life on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 9:30am till 10:30am. Services will start at 10:30 am. Internment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678 which was her very favorite charity for over 14 years.
