Obituary of Robert W. Gibson Sr.

Gibson; Robert William Sr. " Bob " Went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with bladder cancer on August 31, 2014, age 73years of Absecon, NJ, formerly of Marlton Lakes, NJ. Born September 3, 1940, in Palestine, Ohio. Husband of the late Peggy ( nee: Heppe ). Survived by four children, Robert Jr., Stephen, Heather and Gwenlyn and also was blessed with ten grandchildren. He was a retiree who was renown for the custom homes he built throughout South Jersey. Bob was an avid hunter who loved playing sports, especially basketball and softball in his younger years. He also was a founding member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church,420 South White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6. A visitation from 9am to 11am and services beginning at 11am. Final arrangements entrusted to Knight Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob's name to: Solid Rock Building Fund.
