Devoted husband of the late Margaret A..
Survived by three loving children Robert ( Mary Jo ) of Wenonah, NJ, Michael ( Susan ) of Vineland, NJ, Sharon ( Andrew ) Velten of Merchantville, NJ, four sisters Edith Dieckman, Betty Laslome both of FL., Virginia Lemke of Tenn.,Helen Poore of MI.,three brothers David of Bensalem, PA., Richard of Phila.,PA, Harold of Pine Hill, NJ, also seven grandchildren Michele, Alyssa, Robert, Lauren, Meghan, Kathryn and Ryan... Two great-grandchildren Alexa and Connor.
George served in the US Army during the Korean War, and then went on to work at the Philadelphia Navy Yard where he retired after 25years.
A viewing will be held Thursday, April 19, 7pm to 9pm and Friday, April 20, 9am to 10am at the Knight Funeral Home. A mass will be held 10:30am at St. Simon Stock Parish/ Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus, 178 West White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
