The Shay Family offers their condolences, not only to Danny & Nina, but the entire Monaco Family, during these trying times. Nino was much more than just a camping buddy, to us.
Insights into life is what I / we treasured most, from Nino.
We would like to believe that Nino is together w/ his wife, again, for entirety.
Unforeseen circumstances are preventing us from attending, tonight, but we want you to know, Nino will always live on, in our hearts.
I have many Theresa/Nino casino trips, which are memories, I’ll take to my grave, that you had, to have been there, to believe it! Never won any real money, but the memories are priceless! Beach Blast this coming season, will not be the same, you will be sorely missed and thought about. The Horseshoe pit, who is going to keep us honest?
We love you and will miss you and hope all is well now.

Grandpop you were always there with a smile, a laugh, and a hug, and I will miss that. Give Grandmom a hug for me. I still talk to her almost every day. You both will always be in my heart not just because of how much I love you both dearly, but also because you of the love you shared for each other for so long. You showed me marriage isn't just hugs and kisses, but also snarky comments, shoulder punches, ear flicks, so long as the love is always there. Thank you for that and everything else.

Here is a poem that I found to express my love for my grandpa. He will be missed truly. He was a great man and a great grandpa.
Light A Candle
And I will light a candle for you
To shatter all the darkness and bless the time we knew.
Like a beacon in the night, the flame will burn bright
And guide us on our way.
Oh today I light a candle for you.
The seasons come and go and I’m weary from the change
I keep moving on but you know it’s not the same
And when I am walking all alone, do you hear me call your name?
Do you hear me sing the songs we used to sing?
You filled my life with wonder, touched me with surprise
Always saw that something special deep within your eyes
And through the good times and the bad, we carried on with pride
I hold onto the life and the love we knew.

I love the time our family spent together camping, fishing and staying at your house in the summer growing up. The one thing that stands out is the time the geese were chancing around, for waving your hat at them. I was happy that David was able to go to Europe with you. Thanks.
You will be miss by all.

My dad was the most amazing father, grandfather, father-in-law and friend. He will be sadly missed here on earth but will always be in our hearts and memories. I remember that he was always there for me no matter what. My favorite memories of him were fishing with him and my boys. He would always get mad when Jared would catch more fish.
