Obituary of Veronika Weis

WEIS, Veronika (nee Dauenhower) died peacefully on October 19, 2009 in her sunny bedroom while holding the hand of her great-granddaughter. Age 101.
Born in Rodalben, Germany on April 12, 1908, she arrived in Brooklyn, NY in 1928. She retired to Sunrise, FL in 1972, and lived in South Jersey for the past 13 years.
Her husband, August, pre-deceased her in 1982. She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Inge; (Joseph) Strock ; grand-daughters, Barbara (her husband, Bruce) and Elizabeth (her husband, David); and great-grandchildren, Bethanie, Benjamin (his wife, Mandie),Bruce II, Baillie, Bonnie, Claire, & April.
Please join her family Saturday October 24th for a visitation begining at 10 am to 11 am at St. Lucy's R.C. Church, S. Rt. 73, Blue Anchor, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cedarbrook, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul; c/o Blessed John XXIII; 250 S. Rt. 73; Blue Anchor, NJ 08037.
