LEVIS,William H. Went home to the Lord on March 15, 2009 at age 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean M. (nee Merenda) of Sicklerville. Loved by his seven children, Stephen Davis (Joanne), Linda Eardley (Robert), Barbara DiGerolamo, James Davis (Laurie), Robert Davis (Terry), William E. Levis (Carolyn) and Theresa R. Bruninghaus (Kurt). He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and thirty-nine great- grandchildren. William is a Drexel College Graduate with a Chemistry Engineering Degree. He is retired from Chevron Chemical Company/ Ortho Lawn Division after 30 years of service. William is a WWII Veteran in the Navy Medical Corps and served on the "Yorktown" in the South Pacific. He loved to travel and has been all over the world. Cooking and baking was a love of William's and was known to many as "The Cookie Man". Viewing will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009, 7:00pm-9:00pm at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Rt. 73, Berlin, NJ. Services will be held Friday, March 20, 2009, 10:00am at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, where family and friends may call at 9:30am. Interment with Military Honors at Berlin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in William's memory to the Holy Communion Lutheran Church Memorial Garden, Rt. 73, Berlin, NJ.
