I was very sad about Lucy's passing. She was a wonderful person, and at times, I found myself trying to be funny and calling her grandmom sometimes over the many years that I spent with Jaime and her family. I at times, thought of her as a second grandmom. May she rest in peace.

Grams, I loved you very much and will miss you deeply. Words can not describe how honored I was to have you as my Grandmother. I will never forget all of the memories we had together. Most recently, I still remember how your face lit up when Glenn and I told you that you were going to be a Great-Grandmom at your 81st birthday dinner. I will always cherish the memories of you and Alyssa together. Also, your cooking was out of this world! I am going to try to master some of your recipes :) I am at peace now to know that you are no longer suffering and in pain. You really were a fighter throughout this summer. You are now in heaven back together with Gramps again. R.I.P. and I love you!
