I was thrilled to reconnect with my cousin the last few months. We shared a lot of stories of our grandparents and genealogy. In many ways, I felt closer to Charlotte the last few months than I did growing up, even though we were only 2 months apart in age. I feel a great loss!!!!

We are so sad the passing of our Charlotte, she ment so much to so many people. I found one her Warm and caring Thank-you notes, and though - I bet everyone has stacks of these notes from her. She was always thinking of everyone else. She was so much fun to travel with more life has so many wonderful memories of Her and Ernie. All be cause she would say let go to ... and the ball would start rolling. She was a fanatic planner, and Help so much with Decorating the church, having great idea for PW to do, and so creative, she decorated the tea caddies for events ( including my daughters wedding shower) they were so beautiful. I am really going to be lost without all her help at the women's PW Retreat, and Trunk or Treat, and all PW events - she did so much, and made a big difference in my live by just knowing her, she was my Hero. Thank you God for Charlotte!

Charlotte and Uncle Ernie were so very supportive of my Dad, Uncle Ern's brother throughout his battle with cancer, all while she was fighting so very hard on her own battle....so very grateful! Rest in peace Charlotte, you fought the tough fight. Thoughts and prayers to Uncle Ernie and all of Charlotte's family.

What a thoughtful and kind person Charlotte was. Despite all her problems the last few years, she would always ask how I was doing. I really appreciated that.

When I had to go back to work in September 2000 after adopting our two children from Russia, it was important to me that they be in a home setting for daycare. I will be forever thankful that I found Charlotte. She and Ernie provided a second home for our kids. Walking in, there was always the smell of something delicious cooking. Charlotte was able to cuddle babies, sit with a child on a nebulizer, entertain preschoolers and serve delicious breakfasts and lunches without ever appearing rattled by any situation. It always amazed me that she could get all of the children quiet at once for nap/rest time! She made birthdays extra special when everyone would make a cake together for the birthday child and then sing and eat it later in the day. She had the patience of a saint - even when telling my daughter a hundred times a day to not pick up the babies! In addition to special celebrations, she did all the usual mom things. The kids played games, did puzzles and made crafts. They played outside and went for walks. Through the years, it was always great to run into Charlotte around town to give her updates on two of her many little ones in whose lives she played such an important part. Charlotte was one of the most kind, loving, giving and pleasant people I have ever met. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. To Ernie and all of Charlotte's family - "May the memories wrap their arms around you."
With our sympathy and love,
MaryAnn, Paul, Alycia and Brendan Gearin

A blessed woman with the most beautiful heart! I was only blessed to know her for the last eight months and at this point I feel like I have known her forever. She will be missed and loved forever in my heart and the hearts of my family. God speed Charlotte till we meet again my friend, “Mom” and Grammy.

Mommy wouldn't be happy that I shared this photo, she would say it's because she looked sick...But was just one of the many meals she enjoyed with some of her grandchildren
