Obituary of Josephine A. Moffett

Moffett; Josephine A. ( nee: Johnson ) " Josie " Age 77years of Stratford, NJ, formerly of Barrington, NJ. Josie Moffett on September 13, 2015 passed away with her loving family by her bedside. Josie was the youngest of nine children and is survived by brothers Charles ( Sylvia ) and Lloyd, a sister-in-law Carol ( John ) Reeves. She is a former Miss Barrington and a 1956 graduate of Haddon Heights High School. Most of all, Josie unconditionally loved her family and many friends. She also enjoyed photographs, cruising, casinos, crocheting, knitting, " Dancing with the Stars ", and holidays, particularly Christmas. Josie and Harry her loving husband, have been married for 55years and have been a couple since 1953, their sophomore year in high school. She is the beloved mother of William ( Linda ), Robert ( Mary ), Tammy Moffett, Nancy ( Tom ) Johnson, and 5th child great- niece Kelly Lynne, seven grandchildren Michael ( Brooke ) Moffett, Steven ( Alexis ) Moffett, Nichole Tornatore, Holly Moffett, Joe Moffett, Keith Moffett and Christina Moffett, and great grandson Austin " AJ " Moffett. She will be missed greatly not only by her immediate family, but also her many nieces, nephews, and friends that she so deeply loved and they loved her. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, September 22, from 9:30am to 11am at St. John-in-the- Wilderness Episcopal Church, 77 Hilliards Rd., Gibbsboro, NJ 08026. Service of Christian Burial will begin 11am. Inurnment will follow at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made " In Memory of Josie Moffett " to St. John- In- the- Wilderness Episcopal Church.
