Auwarter; Frederick W., Jr ( Billy ) Passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2013, age 66 years of Tansboro, NJ. He was the loving husband of Linda Auwarter, father of Tara ( Neil ) Ziegler, Alexis Webster, Daniel St. Pierre, James ( Meredith ) Manning, grandfather to Nadia Ziegler, Patrick, William, Mary Manning, brother to Karla ( Mark ) Shaw, and dear uncle to Rachel Shaw. Predeceased by Frederick Sr., Virginia, Kathleen Auwarter. Billy enjoyed camping, fast pitch baseball, working with horses, Nascar, shuffleboard, and horseshoes (especially at the annual family picnic). He loved spending time with his family including many devoted cousins, friends and coworkers. Billy worked for Uncle Carl's racing stable before serving in Navy for four years. He returned to horse racing in many positions including: exercise boy, pony boy, trainer, indentifier, and worked the starting gate in NJ and PA. In 1995 Billy joined Linda at ANS Steel Company. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at the Knight Funeral Home. 14 Rich Ave, Berlin, NJ 08009, Wednesday April 3, 2013, visitation 9:30am to 11am, with memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053
