Obituary of Robert N. Gray

Gray; Robert N. Went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2012, age 82years of West Berlin, NJ. Son of the late Frank B. and Edna ( nee: Troutt ) and brother of the late Earl, Frank, Warren. Survived by his devoted wife of 61years Blanche C. ( nee; Townsend ), four loving daughters Karen ( Albert ) Crittenden of Elk Twp, NJ, Paula ( Dan ) Michalak of Wilson, NC, Edie ( Stan ) Misiak of West Berlin, NJ, Laura ( Al ) Afflerbach of Woodbury Heights, NJ, two sisters Hazel Vilnis of Langhorn, PA, Dolly Sirolli of Blackwood, NJ, also proud Grandfather of Melissa Soto (David Fanelli), Holly (Paul) Gibbs, Seth and Tara Crittenden, Daniel, John and Suzanne Michalak, Andrea (Zack) Strickland, Gregory and Erica Misiak, Sarah (Dan) MacDonald, Keith (Erin) Russell, Joshua Russell, Alex, Samuel and Brickus Afflerbach, Beth (Bob) Ziegenfuss, Matthew (Jen) Afflerbach, Peter (Jill) Afflerbach and their families. Also loving Great-Grandfather of Lauren Fanelli-Soto. Bob served in the US Airforce during the Korean War participating in the Berlin Air Lift 1947-1951, and also served in the US National Guard from 1954-1957. After his military service he then became an electrical engineer, and was an avid golfer and member of the Little Mill Country Club and Medford lakes Country Club. Bob enjoyed bowling at 30 Strikes Bowling Alley and Crosskeys Bowling Alley where he was part of many leagues. Services will be held Friday, August 24,2012, 11am at the Knight Funeral Home where family and friends may call 9:15am. Interment with military honors at Berlin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bobs memory may be made to the East Berlin Community Church, 115 Collings Ave., West Berlin, NJ 08091.
