Shirley Sara Healy (née Watson), 91, passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2026.

Born on October 1, 1934, in Southwest Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Shirley later moved to New Jersey.

Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her loving children, Janet Talamo (John) and Joseph Sulpazo (Amy). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Kellie Beaupre (Marc), Danielle News (Pete), Jessica Shaw, Neil Talamo (Lauren), Antonio Talamo (Angie), Joseph Sulpazo (Jess), Collin Loesch (Liz), Julianne Sulpazo (Eric), and Liam Sulpazo. She was also blessed with 13 beloved great-grandchildren.

Shirley is also survived by her dear sister, Janet Kelly (“Tootsie”), and was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Florence Gallagher (“Cookie”); and her infant son, who passed at birth.

Shirley worked for many years at Mr. Williams Hair Salon in Northeast Philadelphia before later working in retail in New Jersey. She found joy in spending time with her family, enjoying Ocean City, dancing every Monday night with her friends at The Coastline, and spoiling her cats with treats.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Knight Funeral Home, 14 Rich Ave., Berlin NJ 08009.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the AWA Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees.
