Phyllis Hughes, age 85, passed away peacefully on December 20th, 2025 in the comfort of her own home. She was born on January 1st in Philadelphia.

Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend who was known for her kindness, spunk, compassion, patience and generosity. She enjoyed knitting, reading, getting her hair done, shopping. She was a great woman of God and she especially cherished time spent with her family.

She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Hughes, her son Michael Hughes, her granddaughters Melissa Hughes and Jade Campbell, her grandson Erik Hughes and her great grandchildren Mallory and Delaney Hughes, and was preceded in death by her husband William Hughes.

Phyllis will be remembered for her love for God, her spunky spirit, and the love she gave to those she loved. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service witch will be held Monday, December 29th 11am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
