In Loving Memory of Julia "Judy" Alexander

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Julia “Judy” Alexander, who left us on August 26, 2025, at the age of 78. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judy was a cherished resident of Somerdale, New Jersey, and was loved by all who knew her.

Judy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Alexander, Sr., and is survived by their three children: Donald Jr. (Julie), Robert Sr. (Kristine), and Dawn Lynch (William, deceased). She was the daughter of Francis and Ella A. Wiltsey (née Banker), and was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Veneziale (Thomas), Theresa Shinn, and Doris Roberge. She is also survived by her brother, William Wiltsey (Aida), and her sister, Eleanor Wiltsey (Thomas), along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Family was the heart and soul of Judy’s life. She took immense joy in hosting family barbecues, holiday dinners, and especially in the Christmas mornings spent with her grandchildren, who were her greatest pride and joy. Judy's love and devotion to her family will live on through her nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Nicole, Robert Jr. (Katrina), Sean (Ashley), Shelby (Kyle), Donald III (Gianna), Ashlee (Matthew), Allison, and Nicolette. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, including Damien, Aundrea, Sean Jr., Arabella, and Avrielle.

Judy’s kindness extended beyond her family. She was a dedicated employee of First Student Transportation in Berlin, New Jersey, for many years. An active member of the American Legion in Gibbsboro, she served as the long-time president of the Ladies' Auxiliary and dedicated herself to various community events that touched the lives of many.

Her absence will leave a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Gibbsboro American Legion. We invite all who loved Judy to join us in celebrating the incredible life she lived.
