Irene “Rene” Cipriano (née Lee), age 78, of Pennsauken (and more recently Berlin) NJ, passed away suddenly on June 26, 2025.

Born on March 12, 1947, Rene was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Cipriano and a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her son Robert Fleming and his wife Colleen, and her grandchildren Riley, Hailey, Raegan, and Jaxson. She was also a loving grandmother to her oldest granddaughter Payton Hilbert and her husband Jimmy, and cherished her grandchildren Joey, Emily, and Ember. Rene’s legacy lives on through her great-granddaughter, Presley.

Rene is also survived by her dear sisters Mary O’Connell, Christine Lee, and Lauren Kandel. She is also survived by her daughter.

She retired from Pennsauken Transportation after many years of dedicated service. In her retirement, Rene enjoyed the simple pleasures—getting her nails done, shopping, and reading. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, who brought light and laughter to her days.

Rene’s strength, wit, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In keeping with her wishes, no public services will be held.
