Theodore V. Coppola Jr.
February 13, 1957 - April 23, 2025
Theodore Coppola Jr. (aka Teddy), age 68, of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 23rd, surrounded by his loving family.
Teddy was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Theodore V. Coppola Sr. and the late Carol Baldino. He often shared fond memories of time spent with his grandparents: John and Mary Baldino (deceased), Carlo and Ida Coppola (deceased) and step-father Nathan Menzano Sr.
Teddy moved to New Jersey later in his childhood and graduated from Highland High School. It was during this time that he met his future wife, Patty.
Teddy married Patricia Rocco (aka Patty) and their love story was one of dedication to each other. He would say she made him a better person, and she would say he was the love of her life. Teddy and Patty celebrated more than fifty incredible years together.
Raising his daughter, Elyse, was one of the great joys of his life. He never missed a soccer game, a dance recital, or a chance to share a Philly sports game with her. He was proud to become a Penn State dad and immerse himself in all Happy Valley had to offer. As a dad and as a person, Teddy was silly and fun, which made him perfect for the role of pop-pop to his grandchildren, Hayden and Reid. He was everybody’s favorite, especially theirs.
Teddy worked in the automotive industry for most of his life, from young mechanic to service manager. No matter his job title, he was everybody’s first call when it came to their car. Cars were one of his passions, along with numerous other hobbies and interests like playing pool, the drums, and being an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Teddy will also be remembered for his sense of humor, easy going personality and his love of music, which he shared with so many of his loved ones.
He was the driver of the boat. The fixer of anything. Everyone’s go-to for a favor or advice. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was loved very much, by so many.
Remaining to cherish Teddy’s memory are his spouse, Patricia (nee Rocco); children, Elyse Renshaw (husband Chris); grandchildren Hayden and Reid; parents Theodore V. Sr. (wife Beatrice), Nate Sr. (wife Faith). Teddy was a loving brother to Carlo, Michael (wife Theresa), John (wife Alecia), Vincent (wife Marge), Rhonda (husband Terry) and Gloria. Adored son-in-law to Pat and Caroline Rocco. He was also a dear nephew to Carol (nee Coppola). A brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, godfather, cousin and friend to so many who will miss him.
