Obituary of Ralph M. Bell

Ralph Michael Bell On April 3, 2025, at the age of 89 yrs of West Berlin, NJ. Born in Philadelphia to the late Walter Bell and Hilda Gooderman. Beloved husband to Dorothy L Bell (deceased) and father to Victoria (deceased) and Jean-Paul Bell of West Berlin, NJ. A loving Grandfather to Grace, Emma and Jack Bell. Brother to Veronica, Katherine, Howard (“Bucky”), Charlie, Stan, William and Leslie Bell. Ralph married Dorothy and they eventually settled in Pennsauken, NJ where they raised their son JP. He spent many years coaching baseball in the town Athletic Association. He operated a printing press for various companies in Philadelphia, including his brother Leslie’s company Tab Mailer. Later in life, he graduated from Camden County Technical School with a woodworking degree and began making and selling custom furniture. His greatest love in life were his grandchildren. Taking them for weekend sleepovers and shopping, he loved spending time with them. He supported them in all aspects of their life and was extremely proud to watch them grow into the young adults they currently are. Family was always important to Ralph, from an early age to his death, and he was surrounded by his son and grandchildren when he passed, just as he wanted. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 13 at Filomena’s restaurant, 13 Cross Keys Road, West Berlin, NJ from 12-3.
