Humphrey; Francis Allen

On February 23, 2025 age 78years of Columbus, NJ, formerly of Blackwood, NJ.

Known as Al to everyone who knew him was a loving husband and father. Preceded in death by his parents Allen and Anna, his daughter Christina.

Al was born and raised in the mean streets of Philadelphia, where he learned to be tough and fair, also where his lifelong love of the sport " Bowling " began.

His father suffered injuries when Al was a young man and as the oldest of three boys, Al helped his mother raise his two brothers until they were they were of age to take care of themselves. Al is a graduate of Bishop Neuman High School, also RETS Electronic School, both are in Philadelphia, PA.

It was time for Al to venture out and go to school where he was able to apply his natural inclination of mechanical and technical skills. This afforded him to secure what ultimately became a lifetime of financial security for him as his soon to be family. He met the love of his life, while working in Maryland. Soon after Al and Carolee got married and had two children.

Al is survived by his devoted wife of 50years Carolee ( Nee: Boyd ), his loving son Wesley of Deptford, NJ, also two brothers Michael of Clementon, NJ, David of Wildwood, NJ.

Al dedicated his life to working, supporting his family, and his love of bowling to everyone he knew. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 2016. Most of all he treasured his wife and kids.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 11am at the Knight Funeral Home, where family and friends may call 10am. Entombment Berlin Cemetery / Mausoleum.
