Grace Goshaw (nee: Pierce) passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the age of 82 while surrounded by her family. She was born on February 17, 1939 in Darby, Pennsylvania. Grace was raised in Woodbury, NJ She spent many summers in Avalon, NJ where at the age of 14 she met the love of her life, Walter A. Goshaw, whom she married on April 12, 1958. Soon after marriage, they started a family and raised 7 children. Grace was a devoted and loving mother of 7, Nana to 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Grace enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, needlepoint, gardening, working in special education and was an avid reader. She enjoyed traveling with Nonie and Ruthann. They were able to create so many wonderful memories as they traveled to many amazing international destinations. Grace enjoyed living in Southport, NC for many years before returning to NJ to participate in her grandchildren and great grandchildren's lives. She was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and had many sorority sister that have stayed active, taken many trips together and stayed in touched throughout the years. She was loved and will be missed by so many. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Walter Goshaw, Mother, Margaret Pierce, Father, Willard Pierce and brother, James Pierce. She is survived by her sister and best friend Eleanor (Nonie) Fitzpatrick (Robert) and Sister in law Ruth Anne Pierce. Her children Mary Beth Goshaw, Christine Heartley (David), Carolyn Madden (Michael), Susanne Shaw, Walter A Goshaw, Jr (Michelle), Steven Goshaw (Veronica), and Thomas Goshaw (Theresa). Also survived by Grandchildren Pamela (Tyson), Brian (Missy), Jake (Jeanette), Ashtyn, Mackenzie, Averie, Kevin, Carley, Steven, TJ, Drew and Addison. Great Grandchildren Austin, Dylan, Josalyn, Everette, Georgia, Penelope and William. As well as. many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Saturday, June 12, 2021, 10:00am at Knight Funeral Home, Berlin, NJ. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Foundation, American Cancer Society or your own favorite charity.
