While living there, one of his proudest accomplishments was helping found the Gibbsboro Little League and building their first baseball fields. Edward worked for the Philadelphia Phillies as an usher and security guard from 1962 to 1976. He had three children of his own. Those three children provided him seven grandchildren who in turn gave him nine great grandchildren, all of which lovingly referred to him as Pop Pop. I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
