Obituary of Armando F. Barbarino

Armando F. Barbarino son of Paolo and Angela (Nee Truscia), beloved husband of Elvira Barbarino. Loving father of Angela Wurster (Michael), Diana Longo (Joseph), Irene Barbarino- Smoller (Marshall). Grandfather of Francesca, Gabriela, Michael, Joseph, Nicholas, Giulia, Gianmichael, Nadia and Christopher. Brother of Sebastiana (Tranchida), Alfredo, Angelino, Giuseppe, Gaetano, Gianni, Umberto and Rita (Patrinicola). And survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Armando was born and raised in Enna, Sicilia. He was one of nine siblings. He was a young boy with a love for stylish clothing. And went on to work with the local tailor, working there till the age of seventeen learning every step of the tailor trade. Then, left for the industrial city of Brescia, Italy to learn the manufacturing part of the business where he stayed for three years. Before moving back to Enna where he would open his first tailor shop. During this time he would meet Elvira who became his wife of 54 years. Then moving to Camden, NJ, still pursuing his lifelong passion of tailoring. He opened his tailor shop “Armando Barbarino Custom Clothing” in Cherry Hill, NJ. Armando was also past president of the Custom Tailor Assoc. He was also active in many local organizations. Loved by all, especially his wife and three daughters who he cherished. Armando will be happily remembered by all who were lucky enough to have known him. Visitation will be held at Christ our Light Roman Catholic Church Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Armando's name to Gauchers Foundation 5410 Edson Lane #220, Rockville, MD 20852.
