Elizabeth N. Phero, known as Bette by loved ones, passed away at the age of 87, with her loving son, Walter, by her side, on Monday, Nov. 2,2015 at Lady of Lourdes hospital. She was born in the town of Mount Holly on July 13, 1928, and was the beloved wife of the late Walter H. Phero. Bette lived in Winslow Township for the past 75 years and was an active member of the Grace Union Methodist Church in Blue Anchor. For the past two years, Bette had been residing with her son, Walter Phero and his wife, Marie. She was, and will be remembered forever as, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Bette is survived by her son, Walter Phero and her daughter, Darlene Phero, five grandchildren; Stacey Silvestro, Dena Phero, Rebecca Phero, Edward Englebrecht, and Elizabeth Lounsberry , and 10 great grandchildren; Joy, Alyssa, Hannah, Jada, Daniella, Ronnie, Cameron, Lydia, Eddie and Hailey. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, Nov. 9 from 9:30 -10:30 am at Grace Union Methodist Church. The service will follow at 11:00 am. Internmet Batesmill Cemetery, Blue Anchor, NJ.
