Mrs. Marion Elsie Lyday Kelling, age 94 of Ellijay, GA, formerly of Blue Anchor, NJ, passed Tuesday evening, September 19th, 2017 at the Gilmer Nursing Home.
Mrs. Kelling was born September 2nd, 1923 in Woodlawn, Pennsylvania to her late parents Estus Daniel Lyday and Elsie Lear Lyday and beloved step mother, Barbara Lyday. She was a member of the Grace Union United Methodist Church in Blue Anchor, NJ and she also owned and operated Bates Mill Antique’s. Marion is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Kelling, daughter, Joyce Duble, and her grandson Ethan Duble.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Art Williams of Ellijay, GA, Carla and Jack Galloway of Flint, TX and Kirk Duble of NC; grandchildren, Michelle Williams Neal, Lori Shinar, Dirk Duble, Kate Galloway, Thomas Galloway; great grandchildren, Hayden Neal, Marlee Neal, Raynah Neal, Charlotte Shinar, and Olivia Shinar; sister, Betty Walston of Jacksonville, FL also survives.
Family will receive friends from 11am until the service hour at 12 noon to the service at the church on Saturday, September 30th, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at the Grace Union Methodist Church with Pastor Joseph Breig officiating and Art Williams speaking. Music and vocals will be by Jay Johnson and family. Interment will follow in the Bates Mill Cemetery in Blue Anchor, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Grace Union United Methodist Church, 131 East Central Avenue, Blue Anchor, NJ 08037 in memory of Mrs. Kelling.
